Introduction to Lampwork

Basic bead making techniques will be covered in this 3 hour, introductory class. Learn about safe and proper handling of equipment, tools and materials as well as developing good shapes, pulling stringer and applying surface decoration. By the end of class you will have created several of your own glass beads
Cost is $75.

Intermediate Lampwork

Must have previous lampworking experience and/or completed the introductory class. Class will focus on fine-tuning bead making techniques. Skills covered will include encasing, applying dichroic and foil, making hollow beads, mixing and layering colors, surface decoration techniques, and continuing to work on developing good shapes. Safe and proper handling of equipment, tools and materials will be reviewed.  
Cost is $110 for 2 days.
